Yorkshire House investment pays off with Flying Colours

Yorkshire House investment pays off with Flying Colours

Investment has led to a new five-year lease has been secured with Flying Colours, a specialist wealth management consultancy practice, at Yorkshire House, Chapel Street, Liverpool.

After acquiring the former bank building in May 2016, Millfield Estates embarked on a major upgrade programme, investing in the building’s common areas and vacant suites. The investment has paid off with the property now fully let following this deal for the 3,283 sq ft, third floor suite. Agents Worthington Owen and CBRE negotiated the letting on behalf of Millfield Estates.

Andrew Owen, director of Worthington Owen commented:

“It is wonderful to see that the investment from Millfield Estates has borne fruit and lead to the letting of the entire 3rd floor to such a reputable company as Flying Colours. This new lease means the building is now fully let – the first time this has been achieved since Yorkshire House was originally refurbished back in 2001. It is great news for all.”

Regarded as one of the fastest growing innovators in wealth management in the UK, Flying Colours has expanded dramatically over the last few years, with advisors already working in locations including Ascot, Lincoln and Milton Keynes before adding the Liverpool office this month.

Carl Williams, independent financial advisor for Flying Colours said:

“We have identified the opening of our new Liverpool office as a really exciting development for our practice and we were keen to be in the heart of the thriving Liverpool Commercial District. We were impressed with the location and the quality of the refurbishment by Millfield Estates in Yorkshire House, making it an easy decision. We are excited to be taking over the third floor as the next big step in our development. Millfield Estates have made this move very easy for us.”

Paul Dobson, property director for Millfield Estates, commented:

“Since acquiring Yorkshire House, our priority has been to deliver high quality office space that caters to the specific needs of our tenants. Every organisation is unique and we pride ourselves on being a flexible landlord that will make every effort to accommodate their requirements wherever possible. We believe we have a winning formula and we are pleased that our investment has resulted in Yorkshire House achieving fully let status. We welcome Flying Colours and wish them great success in their new venture.”
