Millfield Estates was founded by Douglas Farnworth in 1981 following many years of entrepreneurial success in business.
Although now retired, Douglas's vision, integrity and belief in long-term investment continue to influence the way the company operates today. His philosophy of investing responsibly, building lasting relationships and continually improving every property remains central to the culture of Millfield Estates and provides the foundation on which the business continues to grow.

John leads the strategic direction of Millfield Estates and is responsible for the financial management and long-term growth of the business. Having spent many years helping develop the portfolio, he oversees investment decisions, finance and business strategy while ensuring the values established by the company continue to shape its future.
John believes that successful commercial property investment is built on careful decision-making, responsible ownership and strong relationships with occupiers, agents and professional advisers. Outside the business, he is a keen cyclist and skier and enjoys supporting his local community through amateur dramatics, where he is actively involved with Walmsley Church Amateur Dramatic Society.

Paul joined Millfield Estates in September 1997 and has been instrumental in shaping the investment strategy that underpins today's portfolio.
With decades of experience in commercial property, Paul oversees acquisitions, asset management and property strategy, combining professional expertise with a practical understanding of long-term investment. Away from work, Paul is a keen sportsman who enjoys both playing and watching cricket and football, interests that reflect his team-oriented and competitive approach to business.

Joshua joined Millfield Estates in 2011 after graduating, having already gained valuable experience within the business during school and university holidays.
As Development Director, Joshua is focused on the future of the portfolio, helping to identify opportunities to improve existing assets while embracing new technology, sustainability and changing occupier expectations. Outside the office, Joshua is a keen golfer and an enthusiastic supporter of Bolton Wanderers, combining a passion for sport with a forward-looking approach to commercial property.
